E-Learning Training at Nelson Mandela University

A team of five dedicated staff members is gearing up to participate in an eLearning Development Training program taking place at Nelson Mandela University in South Africa from 11th to 14th June 2024. This intensive program, funded by the generous support of DIGI-FACE and CEMEREM, promises to equip our team with the latest knowledge and skills in developing engaging and effective eLearning experiences and adoption strategies.

Upon returning, our team is dedicated to multiplying the benefits of this training. We plan to share the acquired knowledge and skills through:

• Workshops and training sessions to equipping other academic staff at Taita Taveta University with the tools and strategies to develop their own eLearning courses.
• Increased eLearning adoption by building a supportive environment for faculty to explore and integrate eLearning into their teaching practices.
• Enhanced student learning through providing students with a more diverse and engaging learning experience that caters to different learning styles.

Their support allows Taita Taveta University to take a significant leap forward in embracing cutting-edge eLearning practices. We will be sharing our experiences and insights gained from the program, along with exciting developments in eLearning at Taita Taveta University.
